What is neon art jamming?
Neon art jamming is a normal art jamming session run under blacklight with UV-reactive paints. You paint whatever you like on the same canvas or tote, but the colours fluoresce, so the artwork glows while you work on it.
Neon is a variant rather than a separate package, so the length follows whichever format you pick: one hour on the 20x20cm express canvas, two and a half hours on the standard 30x40cm canvas. Everyone takes their artwork home.

Neon questions, answered
Do the paintings glow at home?
The paint is UV-reactive, so it glows under blacklight. Under normal light it looks like a bright, vivid painting.
Is UV paint safe?
We use fluorescent paints in place of the usual acrylics, with aprons for every painter.
What should we wear?
Something you do not mind getting paint on. White or light clothing glows under blacklight, which most groups enjoy. We provide aprons.
Can we do neon at our office?
No. Neon runs at our venues only, because it needs the blacklight setup. For sessions at your own venue see mobile art jamming.
How long is a neon session?
It follows the format you choose: one hour on the express canvas, two and a half hours on the standard canvas.
What is the minimum group size for neon?
Five painters. For a smaller or more relaxed session, a classic studio session may fit better.
